The Newport Gulls are a wooden-bat, summer collegiate baseball team based in Newport, Rhode Island. The Newport Gulls Baseball Club is a member of both the New England Collegiate Baseball League and the NECBL's Southern Division. Since 2001, the Gulls have played at Cardines Field.

Go Fly A Kite!

Bring your kite! Brenton Point State Park is a public recreation area occupying 89 acres at the southwestern tip of Aquidneck Island in Newport. The park offers wide vistas of the Atlantic Ocean where it meets Narragansett Bay. The park lies adjacent to the Newport Country Club, part of Newport's Ocean Drive Historic District. On most days you can find beautiful kites flying, bring one and your picnic and give it a try!

Experience Stunning Coastline

Bring your bike, rent one or take a drive and enjoy the amazing homes and views along this incredible stretch of coastline. Ten Mile Drive consists of: Brenton Cove Shore, East Passage of Narragansett Bay, Ocean Drive, and Bellevue Ave. The best way to start your drive or bike ride is at Thames St. as you are driving on the water side of the road and drive around to end on Bellevue Ave. going north.

Sweet Berry Farm is a post-and-beam farm market and café situated on 100 acres of conserved farmland and is located only a short distance from downtown Newport and the island's beaches. From their market they sell their own freshly grown seasonal fresh fruits, vegetables, cut flowers, as well as a variety of gourmet and specialty foods. The pick-your-own season spans from June through December.
